Hidden away down a small alley behind the bustle of one of Amsterdam’s main shopping streets, Kalverstraat, is this haven of haze. It’s renowned, not just for its exquisite (mostly) organically grown weed, but for the fact that scenes for Ocean’s Twelve, starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney, were filmed here. (And, unashamedly cashing in on that, they even have Ocean’s Twelve Haze on the menu.) Don’t miss their cat Bowie – he’s quite the local legend.
