Perennially hip Bar Guru Bar (Platia Theatrou 10, 210 324 6530) has a music policy as varied as its clientele, good Thai food, plus live jazz upstairs. At swanky Soul (Evripidou 65, 210 331 0907) posers sway to R&B. The Gazi district is the latest post-industrial hotspot, and you’ll have to squeeze to get into cosy Tapas (Triptolemou 44, 210 347 1844) for fine cocktails to a funky soundtrack. Nearby, the scarlet chimneys of Technopolis (Pireos 100, 210 346 0981) are a magnet for bourgeois bohemians who flock to the jazz and comedy festivals at this former gasworks. Kolonaki’s Skoufa and Haritos streets are also lined with style bars, packed with flash-cash crowds.
