More reasonable accommodation can be had at the Cloître St-Louis (20 rue Portail Boquier, 04 90 27 55 55, www.cloitre-saint-louis.com, €100-€250), a 16th-century cloister, with a Jean Nouvel extension and a rooftop swimming pool.
