Frequent buses from the Termibús terminal and hourly trains from Atxuri station run to San Sebastián (www.sansebastianturismo.com), an elegant seaside resort known in Basque as Donostia. Buses take an hour, the little blue Euskotren (www.euskotren.es) nearer to three. San Sebastian curls around its picturesque bay, La Concha, and is home to some glorious belle époque architecture, as well as world-class restaurants (see p45 San Sebastián for Foodies).
