Seasonal Milan

The feast day of Saint Ambrose (7 Dec), Milan’s patron saint, marks the year’s glitziest occasion: the start of the season at La Scala. The Milan fashion shows, late February and late September for womenswear and late-June and mid January for menswear, mean a huge demand on hotel rooms, taxis and restaurants. The Milan Furniture Fair (April) is a similar scenario, with one difference: you can visit the exhibitions at design showrooms.
